1/2" normally closed (NC) condensate water discharge Solenoid valve , in association with a timer and installed in the discharge circuit of a pressurized air installation, allows for "pause" and "discharge" cycles of the water present in the pneumatic installation and other elements produced by condensation.
This series of solenoid valves are manufactured with a CW617N brass body and NBR gaskets. The guide tube, cores and springs are made of stainless steel.
An excessive presence of condensation water in the pneumatic installation, due to negligence in drainage by manual means or by float purging, can be very harmful to an installation and the elements connected to it. The installation of a discharge solenoid valve allows you to automate its drainage process. This type of solenoid valve incorporates a manual shut-off valve and a manual discharge control.
The solenoid valve is supplied without coil, this has to be purchased separately. The coil must have a core diameter of 13mm and size 30.
