Round shaft support 12-15-17mm in stamped sheet metal BPF series - ISB

Self-aligning round housing made in two pieces of stamped steel sheet, for bearings with 12, 15 and 17mm diameter shafts. Round housing for the insertion of SA2 and SB2 series ball bearings of the brand ISB.


Compatible with SA2 series bearings: SA201-2RS (12mm shaft), SA202-2RS (15mm shaft), SA203-2RS (17mm shaft)
. Compatible with SB2 series bearings: SB201-2RS (12mm shaft), SB202-2RS (15mm shaft), SB203-2RS (17mm shaft)

This type of housing together with a bearing is free to oscillate in the respective housing raceway, is able to compensate for any misalignment and eliminate any possible stress between the shaft and the housing.

The field of application of this type of bearing housing is industrial and general applications with normal loads, low to medium rotational speeds.

Stamped sheet or plate housings have a high speed of rotation and high elasticity. These housings combine lightness with optimum mechanical strength. In some cases, this type of support can be subject to deformation when subjected to high loads, which can vary depending on the direction and load. In addition, the shape of the support and the thickness of the plates can influence the amount of deformation. The permissible load must therefore be such that the resulting deformation does not impair the functionality of the support. The permissible load is approximately 1/3 of the base load value in radial direction and 1/3 of the permissible radial load in axial direction.
