La fuerza (teórica) que un cilindro neumático puede desarrollar se calcula de multiplicar la superficie del cilindro e (en cm2) por la presión del aire (en cm2), esto es válido para el empuje.

En el caso de un cilindro de Ø32:

Presión de trabajo 5Kg/cm2

  • Empuje: 40,2 Kg.
  • Tracción: 34,6 Kg.

Presión de trabajo 6 Kg/cm2

  • Empuje: 48,3 Kg.
  • Tracción: 41,5 Kg.

Presión de trabajo: 7 Kg/cm2

  • Empuje: 56,3 Kg.
  • Tracción: 48,5 Kg.

Para calcula los Newton multiplica por 9,81.
