Plug with ball valve for pipe diameter 20mm - Sicomat

Plug for 20mm outside diameter pipe with ball valve or shut-off valve of 2 way, 1/4 female connection and handle operation. Plug with black nylon body and blue nylon nut, NBR O-ring and metal valve. This type of plug allows a simple and quick assembly in end-of-line sections in compressed air, vacuum and inert gas networks and installations such as nitrogen and argon, as it has a quick coupling system. Maximum working pressure 12,5 bar.


Ball valves are suitable for use in compressed air installations in order to facilitate maintenance operations, as they are designed to section the system in localized interventions, allowing to close the air passage. They are very useful for the correct evacuation of condensate in installations where the use of condensate-free air is required. They are on-off type valves with two possible positions, open or closed; in the ON position the fluid coming from the circuit passes through the valve and in the OFF position it completely blocks the passage of the fluid.
