1/4" direct drive solenoid valve, 2-way, normally closed (NC), for use with fluids or air, indirect drive. Brass body and coil control in stainless steel.

Pitch diameter 2.5 mm.

In this type of valves, the mobile core, mounted with a sealing joint, is the one that opens and closes directly on the hole of the solenoid valve. When the coil is not active, the plunger is closing the passage of the solenoid valve, preventing the flow of fluids. When we give tension to the coil we create a magnetic field and cause the moving core to open the hole, allowing passage to the fluid. When we stop exciting the coil, the moving core, by means of the spring it has, returns to the initial position.

This type of solenoid valves can open from 0 bar.

The working pressure ranges are:

  • Minimum pressure differential between inlet and outlet (ΔP bar): 0 bar.
  • Maximum pressure differential between inlet and outlet (ΔP bar):
    • With coil size 22mm of 6.5W: 3.7 bar.
    • With coil size 22mm of 7.5VA: 6.1 bar.
    • With coil size 30mm of 8W: 11 bar.
    • With coil size 30mm of 11VA: 16.4 bar.

Compatible coils for this type of solenoid valve are range SOL10 (22 mm) and SOL11 (30mm) for cores of diameter 10 (Coil not included)

The solenoid valve is normally closed, that is, without tension in the coil, the fluid or air will be interrupted through the solenoid valve, when the coil is put into tension the passage of the fluid or air will occur.
